Christmas

Thu Dec 25, 2008, 11:11 AM
Oh snap. After like, 3 or so years of asking, I finally got an iMac! 8D What makes it better is that I got it with CS4, which means I have a "better" version of Flash. I'm really happy about this. Of course, now I'll have to buy Metal Gear with my own money...

And I hope you enjoyed my little present, because I had some fun with creating that! Oh, what should I do with the rest of the day?... :D

The New Go problem Layout

Mon Dec 22, 2008, 5:07 PM
So far, one of my ideas is a, uh, low resolution type of thing. Sort of like those Go computers!.. I know, I'm not really liking that idea either, but there's not too much to be done... except that "universal" type of board, with the star points being galaxies or the such.

And my other layouts are just.. different types of stones and stuff... nothing very original or different.

Hnn, I'll need ideas fast. Or I could try a "realism" theme with pictures of my own set, but that would look tacky online... I'll think about it over the next 2 days...

Let me know if you get any good ideas, because like I said earlier, I could really use them! ^^;

Ok, I need help with this...

...Once again, another 50 problems have come and gone. So, I need suggestions for 250, or else I'll just end up uh... making another thrown-together layout, and we don't want that, now do we?

Oh, and I think I've said this, but there'll be a surprise on Christmas for those of you who check the Go problem! :D I can't wait to post it!

Plus, I'm seriously considering uploading my Go problems to scraps, because it really is flooding out my deviation gallery, and I don't really want to consider it art because it's the same over and over again with minor changes. So, just let me know what you think about that. You'd just have to subscribe to my scraps if you wanted to get the daily problem in your inbox thingy. (I'm bringing this up because I was trying to find a deviation through hundreds of problems, and it finding it took way longer than it should've...)

Oh, and Happy Holidays, too! 8D

Ok!

Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuur school's over for now.
Now I can.... uh... work on those various projects that I have open... oh boy.

Anyways, I hope everyone has a good holiday season!
Why did I make this journal again? There was a point.... but I forgot it.

Oh well, I'll try to set up some goals and stuff to get done during the break. Also, if random conversations at my school have taught me any odd phrases, it would be "Jesus Christ-mas".

I swear I had something better and totally worth your time to say....

Making a Go Problem and more Go stuff...

Fri Nov 28, 2008, 7:43 PM
I finally got that video uploaded, and I was having so much trouble encoding it myself, that I just uploaded it to Youtube...

Part 1: [link]
Part 2: [link]
Part 3: [link]

So, if you're interested in seeing what it's like making these, there you go!

Also, I'm debating whether to move all my Go problems to scraps, and then you can subscribe to my scraps to view my problems and people who subscribe only for my art and Flash stuff can subscribe to my deviations only and skip the excessive dumping of Go problems... ^^;

What do you think about that?..
